Manning publishes books on Struts and Lucene

In Struts Recipes, authors George Franciscus and Danilo Gurovich present a collection of algorithms and techniques that show how to accomplish tasks not addressed by Struts features. Many recipes describe how to integrate Struts with other third party libraries.

In Lucene in Action, authors Erik Hatcher and Otis Gospodnetic present a guide to the Lucene open source search engine. The book describes how to index data, search, sort, filter, and highlight search results.

Advanced Installer For Java 2.3 now available

Caphyon has released version 2.3 of its Windows installer authoring tool, Advanced Installer For Java. Version 2.3 adds support for installing Internet shortcuts, modifying projects from the command line, and logging while running a MSI.

Vanward updates quality assurance tool
