Yesterday a new smartphone Wave was officially presented by Samsung. Some say that it is based on Linux. But it’s not that interesting as you just can’t expect a jailbreak or some kind of a root access from Samsung anytime soon. Their site states that BADA can be based on a real-time OS or Linux kernel, so I wouldn’t be so sure that it really does have Linux under the hood. Wave is allegedly capable of running Flash applications, which is very interesting.
