J2EE and Ajax

I was thinking lately about J2EE standards and asked myself a question: if AJAX was to be a part of J2EE, which implementation would be chosen to become a reference? As JCP is driven by Sun I suppose that the best candidates would be the ones that have Sun’s support. I’m aware of two AJAX frameworks that claime as being supported by Sun — Dojo and ICEFaces. Then I received that news about ICEFaces replacing Sun’s Woodstock in NetBeans, and it made me sure that ICEFaces was the most probable candidate to become a part of J2EE standard. If AJAX ever hits it of course.
