Oracle's $125M investment will help i-flex acquire compliance software vendor Mantas Oracle is increasing its stake in Indian financial software company i-flex solutions with a $125 million investment, which will help fund i-flex’s proposed acquisition of Mantas, a vendor of anti-money laundering and compliance software and services.Oracle, of Redwood Shores, California, announced Monday that i-flex will issue approximately 4.45 million equity shares to Oracle under a preferential allotment. After the completion of the allotment, Oracle’s ownership in i-flex will increase from the current 52.5 percent to 55.1 percent, Oracle said. In accordance with regulations of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Oracle will also make an open offer to purchase up to an additional 20 percent of the shares outstanding from the remaining i-flex shareholders at a price based on SEBI regulations.I-flex, of Mumbai, announced Monday that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Mantas, of Herndon, Virginia, for $122.6 million in cash.
