Google Page Creator is once again accessible

Google has reactivated a new Web page creation and hosting service after taking it down last week within hours of its launch.

The Google Page Creator was once again accessible over the weekend at http://pages.google.com and can be used by anyone with a Gmail account. It allows for Web pages to be quickly created using an on-screen WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) editor and requires no knowledge of HTML (Hypertext Markup Language). Users have a number of templates to chose from and there is a 100M-byte cap on the amount of storage space for pages and uploaded files.

On Thursday last week Google activated the service but stopped accepting sign-ups within hours, citing overwhelming demand.
