Company to offer Mercury LoadRunner load-testing software Business application vendor SAP AG will resell software designed to help customers optimize the performance and scalability of its applications.Under an agreement announced Tuesday, SAP will resell Mercury LoadRunner, a load-testing software developed by long-time SAP partner Mercury Interactive Corp. The offering will be branded SAP LoadRunner by Mercury.Mercury is specialized in business technology optimization software. By using SAP Mercury LoadRunner, project managers can obtain an accurate picture of end-to-end system performance and optimize the scalability of applications running over the NetWeaver integration platform, the Walldorf, Germany, vendor said in a statement. The software is designed to help them avoid over-spending on hardware and infrastructure.The offering fully integrates with SAP’s Computer Center Management System and allows customers to automate application load testing.Pricing information was not available.
