The site says MS will hold events to introduce Vista and Office 2007 to Canadian business customers, but no U.S. launch has been indicated The long-awaited Windows Vista and Office 2007 will make their Canadian debut with a launch event in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, on Nov. 23, according to Microsoft Corp.’s MSDN Canada Web site.Microsoft will hold a series of events to introduce Vista and Office 2007 — along with the next version of its Exchange messaging server, Exchange Server 2007 — to its business customers throughout Canada.Following the Edmonton event, which will be held at the Shaw Conference Centre, Microsoft will hold events in Toronto on Dec. 5, Montreal on Dec. 7 and Ottawa on Dec. 12, according to the site. There is still no public information on when Vista will launch in the U.S. or other countries. At the launch events, Microsoft will give attendees an overview and demonstrations of the products, and there will also be special sessions for developers, IT professionals and business and government customers, according to the site.
