Using Opsware, CN gained control over its heterogeneous network of 2,000-plus devices. By implementing Opsware Network Automation System across its network devices, CN can now automatically detect and auto-remediate noncompliant configurations. Opsware helps CN ensure compliance with policies and best practices by automatically validating proposed changes, deployment, and automatically rolling back unauthorized or noncompliant changes. It also prohibits unauthorized device access and allows CN to prevent noncompliant changes, security breaches, and errors before they happen by screening all change activity through a compliance model.
