Web conferencing gets integration

Macromedia this week began shipping “solution accelerators” for the Macromedia Breeze Web-based collaboration system, which feature sample code and documentation to integrate Breeze functionality with a user’s existing directory services, intranet applications, and portal pages.

Breeze features communications ranging from live meetings to “on-demand” presentations. The Breeze Solution Accelerators, free to Breeze customers, can synchronize Breeze with employee directors such as LDAP. Breeze content and scheduling information can be made available on external or internal Web sites and portals using Java, ColdFusion, or .Net systems, according to Macromedia.

The accelerators can be downloaded at www.macromedia.com/go/breezeacc.
