Web publishing tool simplifies site creation, management Interwoven this week will roll out a new Web publishing tool designed to allow business users to create and publish dynamic Web sites easily. LiveSite Content Publishing Server gives IT managers the capability to create page-level templates and components that business users assemble and manage.To construct templates for an extranet, intranet, or Internet-facing site, IT developers first define the standard items that need to be shared across multiple sites and then create XML- and XSL-based components, company officials said.LiveSite includes WYSIWYG publishing with drag-and-drop layout capabilities, component-based page assembly, point-and-click customization, and central management by IT departments.
