SOAPscope 3.0 being released

Mindreef on Monday is announcing availability of SOAPscope 3.0, a Web services diagnostics system that features life cycle interoperability testing and troubleshooting.

Also in the release are integration with Microsoft Visual Studio .Net and the ability to graphically query message logs to pinpoint performance bottlenecks and other problems, Mindreef said.

Interactive message analysis and WS-I Testing Tools integration are featured in the product, combined with WSDL analysis. The WSDL analysis function, released previously, enables detection of interoperability issues throughout an application’s life cycle, highlighting message parts, or WSDL pieces that are invalid.

A SOAP message analysis function checks SOAP messages for formatting and conformance to SOAP specifications, the WS-I 1.0 Basic Profile, and the applicable WSDL file.

Version 3.0 also has what the company calls advanced HTTP support, providing for secure messaging and other HTTP features such as SSL/TLS (Secure Sockets Layer/Transport Layer Security) basic authentication and compression.

SOAPscope 3.0 is priced at $99 for a one-year subscription including support and all upgrades.
