Company extends adapter lineup iWay Software broadened its adapter portfolio with the acquisition of Actional’s adapter business.By acquiring Actional’s adapter technologies, iWay brings the total number of adapters it sells to more than 250. The company offers adapters for data, application, and transaction integration.In addition to the adapters, officials at iWay (an Information Builders’ unit) said the purchase will boost its development and support efforts. The pact includes Actional’s SOAPswitch, Control Broker, and Object Bridge products.
