AutoCert aims to cut management costs

Venafi today introduced AutoCert Manager, a digital certificate management program designed to maintain the security and scalability of e-business operations.

AutoCert Manager manages digital certificates across certificate authorities, platforms, applications, and devices. Organizations rely on digital certificates to secure their e-business operations, including online banking, patient information-sharing, intranet benefits access, online sales, financial information access, and other operations.

Venafi’s products automate security administration to reduce costs, ensure and track compliance, protect corporate assets, and improve productivity and profitability, said Paul Turner, vice president of marketing for the company. “AutoCert Manager reduces cost by reducing the amount of time spent administering certificates, which can add up quickly,” he said.

AutoCert Manager is an agentless solution that automates all stages of certificate lifecycle management – enrollment, installation, renewal and revocation – and conducts auto-discovery of all certificates. AutoCert Manager has direct integration with 80 to 90 percent of Web servers, application servers, and SSL offloaders. It also includes an executive dashboard for compliance reporting. AutoCert Manager is available now, starting at $150,000.
