Company shifting core product development to Inida

Trilogy Software Inc. announced Monday that it is investing $45 million over the next three years in India. The investment will cover software development, human resources, marketing and support.

Trilogy Software, a privately held software company in Austin, Texas, founded in 1989, provides industry-specific enterprise software for the automotive, communications, computer hardware and insurance industries.

Besides increasing the headcount at its software development center in India from 75 to 250 staff by next year, Trilogy is also shifting core product development work to India.

“Trilogy India will focus on end to end product development for global markets,” said Chinnikrishna Kommi, managing director of Trilogy E-Business Software India Pvt. Ltd, Trilogy’s subsidiary in Bangalore. Kommi added that Trilogy’s staff in India will build specialized products and solutions to cater to the specific needs of customers across the vertical industry segments addressed by the company.
