JUICE SOFTWARE THIS week introduced Juice Version 2.5, offering business users with capabilities to pull real-time data from a variety of applications and place into Microsoft Word or Excel. Applications that can be data sources include sales, marketing, customer, inventory, human resources, and budgeting. Data also can be pulled from mainframe and legacy systems, according to the company. Improvements in Version 2.5 include instant data validation for auditing applications, development tools for building analytical applications without code, and a rapid security integration kit for plug-and-play deployment. Single-click access is available to information stored in multiple IT systems. Juice has applications across a variety of industries, such as manufacturing, financial services, and pharmaceuticals, the company said.
