MySQL database gains .Net integration

MYSQL AB, A Swedish developer of the MySQL open-source database, on Thursday added support for multiple interfaces from Microsoft’s .Net development environment. According to the company, integration with .Net reduces the development time and costs typically associated with client/server applications. MySQL can be integrated with .Net applications via several different interfaces: an ODBC solution, two fast, native solutions, and an OLE DB solution.
