SONIC SOFTWARE AT the JavaOne conference in San Francisco this week announced the availability of SonicXQ ESB (Enterprise Service Bus), which provides a platform for business integration via Web services and the J2EE Connector Architecture. Applications and services can be plugged into the SonicXQ ESB to enable sharing of information with other applications and services on the bus, according to the company. Pre-built services featured in the product include content-based routing and XML transformation to ensure the use of information on the bus by any application without the need for additional coding. Sonic said its distributed integration approach is more flexible and cost-effective than using integration brokers or application servers. Software Development
