Perficient shareholders approve acquisitions of Javelin and Vertecon

SHAREHOLDERS OF AUSTIN, Texas-based e-business solutions provider Perficient on Tuesday voted in approval of the company’s bid to acquire Javelin and Vertecon. Perficient’s CEO, Jack McDonald, said that through the acquisitions, Perficient is looking to expand its geographical presence, grow its customer base, and bolster its management team. To that extent, Perficient also announced that McDonald will continue to lead the company as chairman and CEO; Jeff Davis, an Andersen veteran and former COO of Vertecon, will become COO; Tim Thompson, also previously of Andersen and Vertecon, will lead sales as chief business development officer.
