Code-sharing is focus

Sybase on Tuesday is unveiling a code-sharing forum that enables developers to collaborate on open-source projects. Sybase’s CodeXchange is an online forum on the Sybase Developer Network that enables content-sharing in multiple ways, enabling, for example, Sybase PowerBuilder 9.0 users to share PowerBuilder Native Interface files and extend PowerBuilder. CodeXchange also will host a Sybase Enterprise Portal portlet catalog for uploading and downloading portlets to more quickly portal-enable applications, according to Sybase. Sybase products represented on CodeXchange include Adaptive Server Enterprise, Replication Server, Power-Builder, PowerDesigner, EAServer Enterprise Portal, and Open Source for ebXML Messaging. Developers interested in accessing CodeXchange must join the Sybase Developer Network. Membership in the network is free.
