MINDREEF IS ROLLING out its first product this week, which the company claims is the first diagnostics system for Web services designed to head off problems that arise when developing in the nascent programming model. Mindreef SOAPscope Personal 1.0 gives developers and applications testers logging, viewing, and debugging tools to track and troubleshoot performance, errant data, and interoperability problems in Web services applications, according to company officials. Other notable features in the solution include multiple ways to hook into SOAP streams to scan for problems, as well as the option to use a “pseudocode view” to examine XML code, essentially reducing pages of complex and raw XML into a simpler format conducive to trouble-spotting. Available now, Mindreef SOAPscope Personal 1.0 is priced at $99. Software Development
