A lifetime subscription (yes, lifetime) is also available at $199.95, in addition to a $39.95 per year maintenance fee. Watson 2.2, the latest version of the search software, essentially examines what users are working on, and using that knowledge, proactively finds and delivers relevant information to them in the way of Web links related to text displayed, for instance, on Microsoft’s Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer applications.In September, Intellext announced the availability of Watson as an add-in package for Microsoft’s MSN Search Toolbar application.
