GoldenGate upgrades data sync software

GoldenGateon Tuesday enhanced its data synchronization software. The new version, GoldenGate 7, adds conflict detection and resolution, enhanced high-speed data loading capabilities, security protection through 128-bit encryption of data during transmission between systems, support for the MySQL open-source database, and log-based data capture for Sybase. The upgrade also includes an Activity Console that contains a graphical view of data synchronization functions, including data movement latency, volume levels, and system balancing requirements.
