Web-enabled apps boosted

WebPutty, of San Jose, Calif., on Monday will announce availability of WebPutty Application Platform 7.0, a development and integration platform for Web-enabled corporate applications. The product can manage and repair applications automatically on the Microsoft .Net platform and enables development of service-oriented architectures. WebPutty consists of two components, the WebPutty Developer Studio, providing an environment for n-tier and service-oriented developments, and WebPutty Server, for maintaining and upgrading applications that have been deployed. WebPutty Developer Studio is free while WebPutty Server licenses are $35,000 per CPU.
