Rally Connector for JDeveloper lets users of Oracle tool view and update Rally tasks and defects from within IDE Rally Software Development, which offers a hosted service and onsite software for application lifecycle management for agile programming teams, is connecting its platform to Oracle’s JDeveloper IDE for Java development.Unveiled this week at the Agile2009 conference in Chicago, the Rally Connector for JDeveloper lets users of the Oracle tool view and update Rally tasks and defects from within the IDE, Rally said. The connector leverages Oracle Team Productivity Center, which serves as a server-side gateway to third-party ALM solutions, Forman said. Team Productivity Center provides unified access to ALM tools through JDeveloper, according to Oracle.Rally’s connector is available at Rally’s Web site and through Oracle, Forman said.
