[14:18 ET] The G5 runs current 32-bit apps natively, runs up to 2GHz, 1GHz front-side bus (fastest bus ever says Jobs). [14:16 ET] For the chip Apple turned to IBM. The G5 is the world’s first 64-bit processor, notes Jobs. [14:15 ET] “We are delivering today the world’s fastest personal computer,” says Jobs.
