Not necessarily a visible face in the community, like Ted Haeger was, but Walter is a top performer who, in my opinion, did more for Novell’s Linux business than any other Novell person (and yes, there has been some great growth in that business – it would be better but for Novell’s institutinal problems and Microsoft faux pas that cut against such success).I suspect Walter will end up in private equity again.
