The service will take advantage of Zimbra’s already very slick and functional browser-based app to deliver email, content, personalized information and a new visual voicemail for the “triple-play” setup.

We often hear proprietary vendors say that open source is not enterprise-class. Not only does this deal prove that Zimbra is enterprise-class, but also shows that open source goes horizontal into consumer-class, a much less educated and much more easily frustrated group of users.
