InfoWorld Test Center editors and reviewers have selected 41 hardware and software products from the more than 230 products that were tested during all of 2006. These 41 products represent the best and most innovative in their class. And it looks like five virtualization products have received this honor.

Best Server Virtualization (Hardware Virtualization) – VMware Infrastructure 3

VMware Infrastructure 3 reinforces VMware’s standing as the leading virtualization platform vendor. Improved performance and plenty of new features including iSCSI support and Distributed Resource Scheduler, which combines with VMotion to automate load balancing and fail-over, will grease the wheels of server virtualization in enterprise datacenters.

Best Server Virtualization (OS Virtualization) – SWsoft Virtuozzo 3.0
