It's amazing to watch Microsoft continually be so clueless. 'Shrink-Wrapped SOA' is oxymoronic minus the oxy. Regardless of the vendor, SOA "stacks" defeat the whole purpose of having a loosely-coupled architecture. Show me a stack vendor that allows for truly clean swapping of components with other vendors and I will eat my words. Of course even if a vendor's stack allows for substitute parts they are going to
