While I haven’t used Jobvite, it is an interesting offering and it has been used by quite a few Silicon Valley firms, ranging from TellMe to Tivo. Jobvite continues to develop momentum and has recently announced Series A venture funding of $7.2 million from CMEA ventures. I think its a good sign of how new applications are being tackled successfully as services. This is an increasing trend and should be a part of IT planning for 2008. Open Source
