Don’t they realize immigrants have been coming into this country for hundreds of years and the same thing happens over and over again. It is American culture, habits, beliefs that immigrants adopt not the other way around. In other words, our culture rubs off on them. I am really a bit shocked that some Americans who believe the United States of America is so great don’t have more faith in their own country. They don’t have faith in their own political and social system. They don’t believe that it is our system that will be adopted by them and their children. The only thing we seem to adopt here in the States from immigrants is their cuisine, whether it is a burrito or tandoori chicken. To those who fear immigration and worry it will destory America as we know it, I say bull.
