Find out just how little money it takes to start a web 2.0 company using open source software

Following a panel session at O’Reilly’s Web 2.0 Summit last week, I managed to corner Guy Kawasaki for a short interview where we talked about startups, his new book “Reality Check” and his web site www.alltop.com. Alltop got started for around $20k and now gets up to 50,000 page views a day. Not bad!

This was shot in one take with my trusty Canon G9 point and shoot camera. And just to get into the Web 2.0 swing of things, I’m posting occasionally to Posterous, one of the startup companies from the panel.
