I was down at the OpSource SaaS Con today (which BTW was one of the most interesting events I have been to in years--seriously) and was overwhelmed by the number of people walking around with a stupid cyborg bluetooth earpiece in the whole time. At lunch, in the conference sessions, in the bathroom, etc. Besides the fact that having something stuck in one ear throws off your equilibrium, its safe to assume that I was down at the OpSource SaaS Con today (which BTW was one of the most interesting events I have been to in years–seriously) and was overwhelmed by the number of people walking around with a stupid cyborg bluetooth earpiece in the whole time. At lunch, in the conference sessions, in the bathroom, etc. Besides the fact that having something stuck in one ear throws off your equilibrium, its safe to assume that anyone in Silicon Valley has a cellphone, so no need to show off how cutting-edge you are. I find it hard to believe that putting the earpiece in is such an inconvenience that you have to keep it there the whole time.Apologies for my poor attitude, I did drive a 250 mile round trip today.
