Security concerns do not go away with virtualization. And thanks to a new security alliance, Catbird and McAfee customers will enjoy a common security management interface across their physical and virtual environments. Catbird, a provider of security and compliance solutions for virtual and physical infrastructures, announced that it has joined the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance (SIA).In doing so, Catbird will integrate its V-Security product with the McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator software to address security and compliance implications from moving from the physical world to a virtual world. Unfortunately, there also seems to be plenty of concern and questions around who or what should solve these security problems.Catbird said that enterprise customers expect to use the same tools to manage security across their entire infrastructure, whether virtual or physical.
