Adobe joins the growing list of vendors that host their products on Amazon EC2 in an attempt to reduce the barriers to adoption

Reading the headline that Adobe is putting its LiveCycle tools on Amazon’s EC2 reminded me that I wanted to blog about WaveMaker.

Back in December 2008, WaveMaker’s Chris Keene had written about offering the WaveMaker platform on EC2 so that developers could try it out without having to install anything. And all for the price of snow in Canada, yes, free. WaveMaker also offers the option to transition the developed application into production AMIs with pricing starting at 30 cents per hour on Amazon.
