Unlock and load. Just days after iPhoneSimFree launched its $99 software to set iPhones free from the shackles of AT&T, a group of determined hackers did much the same thing – and made their solution totally free. However, the 22-step process involves more contortions than a Yoga Master with a snake in his shorts. I’m guessing Apple is waiting for enough geeks to do this before they tweak the iPhone’s firmware, disabling the hack. It’s going to be a game of cat and mouse; the question is, who’s the mouse?

Don’t you anti-trust us? Six states and the District of Columbia have asked the courts to offer Microsoft five more years of tough love, fearing a Redmond relapse into anti-trust addiction. Microsoft denies that it has a problem and says it can stop monopolizing anytime it wants to.

With a TV as my guide. MySpace is about to host its first ‘TV series’ debut. Called “Quarterlife,” it’s about a group of six 20-somethings seeking direction after college who spend all their time posting “you are sooooo HOT!!!” on each other’s MySpace pages. Eash hour-long show will post in six bite- sized segments on MySpace, then move to its own website, and eventually find its way into the 99 cent bin at Videos R Us.

A Japanese firm has a solution: NoPoPo (non-pollution power) Acqua Batteries can recharged by adding a few drops of well, what’s left over when you’re finished with the beer you just drank. Just be careful where you do it. (“But officer, I was just recharging my batteries….”)
