On Sunday I’m off to the Gartner Application Architecture, Development & Integration Summit, held in Nashville TN. I’m doing a pre-conference workshop on Sunday night, and a talk on Wednesday morning. Long week in Nashville, and I hope productive.

Some of the key things I’ll be looking for when at the conference include:

  • Signs of synergy between the whole world of Enterprise Architecture and SOA…what are the common threads that are emerging?
  • New ways of thinking about integration in light of the oncoming SOA wave.
  • Any new leadership around the SOA space, versus the loud noises that are around today.

I typically don’t attend, nor speak at Gartner events. This event was the exception, seemed very interesting to me. Also, gives me a chance to meet more SOA practitioners…I love SOA practitioners.

I’ll blog as much as I can from the event. You know me, no free WiFi and I’m packing up and heading to the closest Panera.
