So, what did we learn?

First, Enterprise Architecture (EA) is still a valid discipline within most of the enterprises today, and SOA needs to both add value and assimilate. While many think replacement, that’s typically not realistic. Indeed, enterprise architecture brings its own set of disciplines not inclusive to SOA. I agree with this.

Second, EA provides a management framework that SOA can leverage. That’s true, indeed the “city planning” aspect of SOA needs to lean heavily on the existing EA efforts, tools, and methods.

Finally, one of the steps to a good healthy SOA, is attempting to figure out the synergy with existing EA approaches within the enterprise. Learn to leverage what’s work, and don’t try to solve problems that have already been solved.

Hope you enjoy the Webinar.
