Special report: There is no question that battle lines are being drawn over Net neutrality. Experts are debating whether the infrastructure is already in place, and if the advantages are worthwhile. Of course, as McAllister points out, “Reverse-engineering software that can bridge the gaps between incompatible proprietary software platforms isn’t really revolutionary.
