Sure, survey respondents say that they are practicing agile development techniques, but that doesn’t necessarily make it so. A trio of reports indicate that agile development is commonplace and at least one determined that the same number of companies are using agile strategies as were last year, meaning it may have peaked. But there ought to be more to such a conclusion than just statistics. “The real question is whether the respondents actually know what they’re talking about,” Martin Heller explains in Agile is as agile does.
