The saga of Microsoft’s attempt to take over Yahoo continues, this time with Redmond reportedly seeking partners including Time Warner and News Corp. Microsoft wants to acquire Yahoo search, with the partner taking the rest of Yahoo’s business.

Oracle revealed a comprehensive roadmap for its recently acquired BEA Systems middleware technologies, making BEA’s WebLogic application server Oracle’s strategic Java container and pledging continued support for BEA customers.

Criminals behind the Coreflood Trojan horse are using the malware to steal banking and brokerage account usernames and passwords. They so far have managed to infect hundreds of thousands of computers.

The advertising partnership between Yahoo and Google is reportedly undergoing an antitrust investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice.
