Internet-threat portal on tap from Tipping Point. ThreatLinQ, currently in beta testing, will enable customers to check threat intelligence that TippingPoint gathers, see polls of how other customers are handling the problems, and view the kind of attacks that are occurring and their originating IP addresses.

Check Point introduces VPN-1, new software that is intended to protect virtual machines running on the same piece of hardware from each other, and is also capable of performing network address translation between the virtual servers and the external network.
