Oracle buys Global Knowledge Software. Oracle continues gobbling up companies, this time acquiring the maker of enterprise software training automation tools, with which it intends to provide training content modules for all its applications.

Sun joins the RIA wars with a preview of the JavaFX SDK, which one official describes as the presentation layer for Java. The SDK as of now lacks features such as 3-D vector graphics and streaming video and Sun is about a year behind Microsoft’s Silverlight — but analysts say it’s still early in the fight.
