Akshay Mittal

Akshay Mittal is a PhD scholar at the University of the Cumberlands and an IEEE Senior Member specializing in AI security and MLOps. His research focuses on trust architectures for autonomous AI agent ecosystems, particularly cryptographic identity management and zero-trust security models for cloud-native deployments.

His work on the Agent Name Service (ANS) addresses fundamental security challenges in deploying autonomous agents at scale, demonstrating 90% reduction in deployment time while achieving 100% security compliance. His research has been presented at MLOps World, Cloud Austin and other major industry conferences.

Prior to his doctoral work, Akshay led enterprise ML infrastructure initiatives, experiencing firsthand the operational challenges his research now addresses.
