Ankush Dhar is a principal solutions architect at Amazon, where she leads the global payments platform. With over two decades of experience in payment systems architecture and enterprise software development, she specializes in transforming complex payment infrastructures and driving operational excellence at scale. She is a technology strategist and IEEE-affiliated professional focused on AI-native architecture, agile transformation and enterprise modernization. She has architected critical platforms that serve millions worldwide, ensuring resilience, compliance and trust.

Prior to Amazon, she served as technical architect at Walgreens, where she led the modernization of critical payment infrastructure, including the strategic migration from Base24-Classic to Base24-EPS. Beyond her technical contributions, she is committed to advancing diversity in technology. She founded and currently leads the Women in Payments Tech chapter, building a community supporting 100+ professionals globally and establishing mentorship programs that have guided 45+ engineers. She served as an official technical reviewer for Grace Hopper Conference 2023, furthering the commitment to supporting women in technology.
