Prasanna Kumar Ramachandran

Prasanna Kumar Ramachandran is a solutions engineer at Liberty Mutual Insurance with over 17 years of experience designing scalable, cloud-native and distributed architectures for enterprise modernization. He has led major platform initiatives, including architecting an enterprise-level serverless marketplace offering designed for low-latency, predictable execution using GraalVM native image and Spring Cloud Functions, and a cloud-native, horizontally scalable document management system that separates metadata from content to improve performance and reliability.

Prasanna is also the technical architect and principal developer of Spring Data DynamoDB, the open-source community module officially recognized by Spring Data. In this role, he has delivered major modernizations — migrating the module to AWS SDK v2, Java 21, and the latest Spring Boot versions, while establishing a comprehensive GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline that strengthens long-term reliability and release quality.

His independent research focuses on transparent, privacy-preserving AI, including a provisional patent on distributed on-device multi-agent collaboration. Prasanna also contributes to the broader research community as an IEEE and ACM member, peer reviewer and a member of technical program committee as reviewer for multiple international conferences.
