Open source company offers real-time access to SOA performance metrics and the ability to build portals and personalized dashboards WSO2 is announcing on Tuesday WSO2 BAM (Business Activity Monitor), offering real-time visibility into SOA processes, transactions, and workflows.WSO2 BAM is designed to support heterogeneous SOA and provides a lightweight alternative to large, complex BAM solutions, WSO2 said. The product offers near-real time access to performance metrics to manage and operate a SOA using polling and event based models to gather and collate information about enterprise service buses, services and systems. Gadget Server enables building of portals and personalized dashboards. Web-based portals can be implemented. Gadgets comply with the Google Gadget specification, which is based on HTML and JavaScript.Both WSO2 BAM and Gadget Server are based on the WSO2 Carbon SOA platform, which leverages OSGi to offer a modular architecture. Both products are downloadable now as open source software and as WSO2 Cloud Virtual Machines. WSO2 offers service and support options for its products.
